From Bremerhaven to the Bering Strait
This week, a fully equipped living container has been shipped by HEUER LOGISTICS. The Russian freighter MV Kapitan Danilkin left the Columbuskaje towards the Bering Strait. It will reach the icy harbour of Pewek in roughly 2 weeks time to unload its freight. The living containers will the be transported over land/ice to the mines in the region of Chukota.
All port services were taken care of by Heuer Logistics - supported by SSG Meyer.

Obituary
With deep sadness we say goodbye to our Managing Director of many years, Dr. Uwe Mehrtens (*18.05.1943, † 04.10.2010). He died aged 67 after a long and serious illness. He had a significant influence on the successful development and strategic orientation of the Heuer group. We owe him a lot at his memory will always be cherished. We are saddened and our sympathy goes especially to his family.

New Managing Director
Johan Paul Marie Ebus, sole owner of Lionheart B.V., Rotterdam (NL), has been appointed as Managing Director of the Ebrex Management GmbH and Heuer Logistics GmbH & Co. KG. In August 2009, insolvency proceedings were started against Ebrex Holding B.V., Rotterdam (NL). (September 2009)
