Heuer Logistics - Providing vitamins
Matthäus Society Bremen
Since 2009 we have been supporting the "Zuhause für Kinder" project run by the Matthäus Society in Bremen. Once a week, we supply fresh fruit which is prepared for the children by volunteers.
Kinderkrebsstiftung Bremen
We support the “Kinderkrebsstiftung Bremen“. (Website: www.kinderkrebsstiftung-bremen.de) In 2004 we established contacted with the parents of the „Elternverein Leukämie- und Tumorkranker Kinder Bremen e.V.“ and the “Kinderkrebsstiftung” of the “Prof.-Hess-Kinderklinik”. We decided to organize a raffle and the employees of Heuer Logistics donated 1000 Euros to buy a new Laptop for the above children cancer trust.
We will continue to help and deliver fresh fruit for the little patients every week. We also make donations for the trust and hope this will make a difference for the children.
Projects abroad
We support organisations in the north of Marocco. Their projects are funded by the "Interkulturellen Werkstatt Tenever e.V." and support the province of Al Hoceima. The region is underdeveloped and was hit by an earth quake in 2004. We have been importing from this area for a long time and feel specially connected to the country. Our help is directed at the people.
During the last five years, we supported the following projects:
2006: shipping of an ambulance car
2007: shipping of an ambulance car
2008: shipping of a container filled with medical tools and products (such as ultra sound machines, wheelchairs and bicycles)
SV Werder Bremen
Our fruits delivered to the SV Werder Bremen (www.werder.de). We have been supplying fresh fruit for years and make sure that our team has fresh vitamins for every league game. This way we hope to make sure our team will stay at the top of the German Bundesliga.
Other projects
We are trying to support a wide range of projects involving children in the region of Bremen and Bremerhaven. We donate time and money to children trusts and institutions e.g. the handball competition organised by the local primary school for which we deliver fresh fruit. We also deliver bananas and citrus fruit to the University of Bremen.
